Readymix Concrete

Greenfield Concrete

Greenfield Concrete is a leading accredited supplier of ready-mix concrete and is proud of our ability to provide the solution to almost any concrete requirement.

Ready-mix concrete is the most versatile, cost-effective building material and is crucial in nearly all kinds of construction. Its ingredients - cement, water and aggregates such as sand, crushed stone, or gravel - are combined to create monuments and structures that stand the test of time. Whereever possible we endeavor to use recycled material thus reducing the environmental impact related to waste disposal. Greenfield Concrete tailors our ready-mix concrete to fit our customer's specific needs. By changing the proportion of water, aggregates, and cement in the mix, we produce concrete to specification in respect of strength, durability and workability.

We also use admixtures to customize our concrete to ensure that it is consistent with the transportation time from our plant to the project, weather conditions on site, and the customer's specification.

Ready-mix concrete is made from a mix of cement, sand, coarse / fine aggregates, admixtures and water. A centrally located computer controlled batching plant is monitoring weigh-batching, water-cement ratio, dosage of admixture, moisture content, etc. to produce Concrete. Aggregates make up the majority of the concrete's volume and the cement provides resistance. Additives are incorporated into the mix to ensure particular properties such as improved durability or shortened hardening times. During the mixing phase, we control every step to ensure quality and uniformity.

Greenfield Concrete offers an extensive range of mixes to provide the best solution for any job. The endless possibilities include high strength, increased workability and enhanced flowing characteristics to ensure easy placement. This is supported by the considerable experience of our Technical, Production and Transport staff. We constantly strive to improve on our ability to provide solutions to an ever increasing range of applications through the continuous review of materials and best possible practice.
